Flipify monitors Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist every minute and pushes you a notification the second a matching iPhone is listed. Set your model, price, and negative keywords — then forget about it.
The window where Flipify alerts matter is 0:02–0:22. That's the gap between knowing and being too late.
Average time-to-sale for underpriced listings in good condition. This is why Premium (1-min) scans matter on popular models.
| Model | Avg. time to sell |
|---|---|
| iPhone 13 | < 25 min |
| iPhone 12 / 12 Pro | < 20 min |
| iPhone 14 Pro | < 45 min |
| iPhone SE (3rd gen) | 2–6 hours |
| iPhone 15 Pro Max | 2–4 hours |

Create a watchlist using one of the search configs above
Enter the model, set your ceiling, paste the negative keywords, set your radius. Choose Premium scan if it's a competitive model.
Draft your first-message template now, before the alert fires
"Hi — saw your iPhone [model]. Cash in hand, can meet today or tomorrow in [area]. Is it still available?" Speed beats eloquence. Have this ready.
Run separate alerts for each model, not one broad search
One alert for 'iPhone 13' and another for 'iPhone 13 Pro' gives you better control over price ceilings and notification volume. A single 'iPhone' search generates too much noise.
Add storage to the search string if you care about it
'iPhone 14 256GB' is a valid Marketplace search that filters out 128GB listings. Useful if you've decided the margin math only works at a specific storage tier.
Add a price floor to filter scams
An iPhone 13 listed at $80 is almost certainly not a buyable device. Set a minimum price (e.g., $180) to filter obviously bad listings before they reach your inbox.
Expand your radius for Pro and Pro Max models
Higher-margin models justify the extra drive. A $140 margin on an iPhone 14 Pro makes a 60-mile round trip reasonable in a way that a $70 iPhone 12 deal doesn't.
Basic — $5/mo
10-minute scan interval. Good for less competitive searches and lower-demand models.
Premium — $10/mo
1-minute scan interval. Required for any popular iPhone model where deals disappear in under 30 minutes.
A clean iPhone 13 listed at 25% below market will typically receive 10–15 messages within 20 minutes and sell within the first hour. Sellers generally give preference to the first buyer who responds with a clear, ready offer — which is why notification speed matters more than having the best offer.
Yes. Add negative keywords to your watchlist: -cracked -broken -parts -for parts -bad esn -blacklisted -locked -icloud -activation lock. These filter out the vast majority of non-buyable listings before you're ever notified. You can also set a price floor to automatically exclude implausibly cheap listings that are usually scams or parts phones.
Facebook's saved search notifications are batched and often delayed by hours — meaning most good iPhone listings are sold before you're notified. Flipify scans Marketplace independently every 60 seconds on Premium watchlists and delivers a push notification within minutes of a new listing going live.
Specific model names work better than generic terms. 'iPhone 13 Pro' outperforms 'iPhone 13' for precision. For broad coverage, run 'iPhone 13' and 'iPhone 13 Pro' as separate alerts. Adding storage sizes like '256GB' or '128GB' helps narrow results further. Run separate alerts for each model tier you're interested in rather than one broad search.
Premium (1-minute) scans are strongly recommended for iPhones specifically. Good listings in common iPhone models disappear in under 30 minutes. At a 10-minute scan interval, you're frequently arriving to 'sorry, just sold it.' The $10/month difference in plan cost is typically recovered on the first successful flip or purchase.
